Boating on the Lake

Tournaments are held weekly in Shuffleboard, Boccie, Horseshoes, Archery and Tennis for all age groups with awards presented to the Winners on Awards Night. |
|
Fishing is big at Chestnut Grove. The lake is stocked with large-mouth bass. (No license is needed, lake is a catch and release facility-all fish must be put back. Barbless hooks are encouraged). Each week children’s fishing contests are held. Awards are given for the most fish caught, the biggest fish caught, etc. Awards are made on Award Night. Bring your own fishing equipment if you have it - if not, we have some rods to loan. |

We have a Kids Activity Program supervised by our Social Staff especially for the 5-10 year-olds. These activities vary according to the number and ages of the children involved. A playground with swings, sliding board and teeter-totters is also available. Special events are held each week such as Pool games (splash party), paddle boat races, rafting trip on the Delaware River (extra charge for this activity), horseback riding (extra charge) and car tour to local points of interest. After dinner each evening Bingo is scheduled. All ages can play for money prizes.
Night Time
entertainment includes: Live entertainment for dancing
and sing-along fun, Crazy Hat contest, Kids Talent show,
Karaoke singing at the Bar, Campfires, Wienie Roast,
Marshmallow Roast, and Hayrides.
