Guarantee Policy:
Reservation must be guaranteed by a major credit card at the time of booking. Minimum $100 or 20% of booking will be charged at the time of reservation. Minimum $200 will be charged for a weekly stay at the time of reservation. Deposit is applied to last night of stay.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation charges depend on when Chestnut Grove Resort receives notice of the cancellation. Minimum cancellation charges are as follows:
For weekly reservations.
Majority of our summer weekly reservations are booked one year ahead. In order to receive the special weekly rate for the next year, the $200 reservation deposit must be received by Columbus day of the year before. To cancel the reservation with only $10 processing fee, the notice must be given to us by Memorial day of the vacation year. All cancellation received after the Memorial day is subject to $200 cancellation fee per room. Weekly booking made after the Memorial day, the $200 deposit is non-refundable.
For other holiday & summer reservations.
$10 cancellation processing fee per room.
If notice is received 60+ days prior to Arrival, $10 cancellation processing fee only.
If notice is received 60 to 31 days prior to Arrival, $100 cancellation fee per room.
If notice is received 30 to 16 days prior to Arrival, $200 cancellation fee per room.
If notice is received 15 to 0 days prior to Arrival, 100% of the purchase price.
No-shows – 100% of the purchase price.
For all other reservations,
$10 cancellation processing fee per room.
If notice is received 15+ days prior to Arrival, $10 cancellation processing fee only.
If notice is received 15 to 7 days prior to Arrival, $50 cancellation fee per room.
If notice is received 7 to 4 days prior to Arrival, $100 cancellation fee per room.
If notice is received 3 to 0 days prior to Arrival, 100% of the purchase price.
No-shows – 100% of the purchase price.

Chestnut Grove Resort will apply any payments made toward the purchase price against any cancellation charges and will refund any balance remaining after the payment of any charges. In order to receive a refund, if applicable, Guest must request and receive a cancellation confirmation email. The cancellation charges outlined above are liquidated damages and not a penalty. No refunds or adjustments will be made from any portion of your vacation or services not utilized.

Changes to Reservations
If Guest Desires to Change, but NOT Cancel a Reservation:
At any point prior to travel, guests making revisions to their booking to upgrade (i.e. add nights, adding rooms, additional persons), there is no charge. Any other revisions to the booking (i.e. subtracting number of nights, subtracting rooms, subtracting number of guests):
Received between 30 and 15 days prior to travel; a revision fee of $50 per room would apply.
Received 14 days or less prior to travel; subject to full penalty.

All requested changes to reservations are subject to Chestnut Grove Resort’s sole discretion, and any changes must be approved in writing. If the revised reservation is subsequently cancelled, the cancellation penalties for the original dates of travel will apply.

Use of Coupon(s), Special(s) & Promotion(s) Policy:
Only one (1) coupon, coupon code, promotion or special etc. is allow for any reservation. Chestnut Grove Resort does not permit use of two or more coupons on any reservation.

No Smoking Policy:
To protect and enhance our indoor air quality and to contribute to the health and well-being of our guests and employees, Chestnut Grove Resort is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is prohibited in all the enclosed areas within the facility without exception. This includes guest rooms, common areas, carriage houses, private offices, hallways, stairs, restrooms, pool areas and lobby areas and all other enclosed facilities.
If a smoking violation occurs in a room, the guest will be charged a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that our guests and employees are not subject to second hand smoke.

No Pet Policy:
With the exception of working dogs for disabled people, our hotels do not accept pets.
